I believe that this will be the December 2018 killer, and that this event is teasing them.Released in 2019, Bend Studio’s zombie game Days Gone is headed to the big screen, Deadline reports, with Sam Heughan (“Outlander”) currently “circling” the movie adaptation. This killer could be The Alchemist, The Plague Doctor, or The Apothecary. So here's my theory:Īn as of yet unseen killer collected Auric Cells from the flowers, possibly alchemicized them to be injectable, and has begun to corrupt each killer with them, as instructed by the Entity. It could be The Clown, but he doesn't use syringes, he makes toxic gas. Who could this unknown person be? Well, it could be the Doctor, but even if he could find a way to inject himself, his area of specialty is "electroshock therapy". There is someone else in The Fog, someone who is doing the Entity's bidding and collecting Auric cells and injecting them into killers. Claudette, being a botanist, has turned on us as we knew she always would and now does the Entity's dirty work.ī. And I don't think she would have injected four more killers after seeing how grotesque and terrifying it made the first one she experimented with.ī.
However, I doubt this would be the case, since it seems like a terrible idea, and being the person whose offering starts you as far away from the killer as possible, she seems far too cautious to attempt something that bold. Vigo somehow collected Auric Cells, put them in syringes, and snuck up on killers and injected them. Vigo questioned in her quote above whether we can harness the power of Auric Cells. So who is doing this? Well, I have two ideas. I don't think it is the Entity itself who is doing this, as I don't think a god-like creature would need syringes to inject its own cells. So what does this all mean? Looking at the syringes locations, they are all in the back, a place where these killers can't reach, so they must have been injected by someone else if they injected themselves, the syringes would likely be in their arms. or is that his blood, infused with Auric Cells through the injection? The Doctor's guts seem to have been touched by the Entity.
Auric cells are the same color as the Entity's touch.
And of course, they have all been touched by the Entity, a la legacy skins. The cells have caused the killers to mutate in different ways Huntress appears to be rabid, Wraith has turned completely to wood, Billy has also partially turned into wood, Doctor has been mutilated and has grown more eyes, and Trapper has more metal in his body and his mask has turned to wood. The flowers shown are of course connected to the Entity, and I believe they are where Auric Cells come from, and the killers have been injected with them. Are they the primordial building blocks to everything we see within The Fog? Can we harness their power?" ~ Vigo's Notebook: "The Real Enemy" There are nevertheless strong correlations to be made between the Cell and The Entity's faculty to shape the world that imprisons us. "Very little is known of The Entity's biological workings and the exact purpose of the Auric Cell still eludes me. I'm certain that these are Auric Cells, which have been hinted at to be some biological cells of the Entity: In the trailer for the event, we were shown numerous images near the end, including these flowers, and what appear to be cells dividing. The have been injected with something, something that has caused them to mutate and become twisted in different ways. Many have noticed the syringes that are stuck into Huntress', Hillbilly's, and Doctor's backs. And I think that it all hints toward something greater. However, as we've all figured, these cosmetics and this event will be very lore-heavy. The new cosmetics are some of the coolest cosmetics that will be implemented in the game.
